On Wednesday, April 15, Judge Allyson K. Duncan became the new president of the Federal
Judges Association, succeeding Judge M. Margaret McKeown. Serving on the Fourth Circuit
with chambers in Raleigh, North Carolina, Judge Duncan has been a member of the FJA Board
of Directors and Executive Committee since 2011 and will serve a two-year term as president.

In addition to her involvement with the FJA, Judge Duncan is a member of the Duke University
